  Yeah, it's a dive bar, but it's a hell of a great place to grab a drink. We went in on a Wednesday night, so there weren't many people there, but the folks that were there made this bar a highlight of our trip. A guy named Nate was tending bar, testing out new drinks, and just generally being a friendly bar tender. A couple other people were there, and they were the first friendly locals we got to talk to while we were on vacation. We shared some drinks, played some drinking games, and just generally had a good time. So, if you're visiting Hilo, and you don't know what to do with your evening, give this place a shot. If the people sitting at the bar ask you to drink a Red Rooster with them, do it, and if the strange guy talking to himself in the corner asks if you want to play a drinking game, take him up on it. The guys we met gave us some great tips on where to eat, what to go see, etc, and it led to us having a great time. So, come here for good drinks that are very fairly priced, and feel free to talk to the people around you.

  Awesome dive with great margaritas! We were very frustrated by the lack of tropical drinks in hilo, but this place came through. Sadly we found it with an hour to spare before we had to get to the airport. The bartender was great but claimed that Abraham is in fact really good at pool. He wasn't there for me to test the theory.
